Is this possible?
Someone is selling a turquoise pallid hen that he says he got from a male pallid blue and a female albino. How is this possible? Where does the turquoise come from?
Re: Is this possible?
The Albino was probably really a Creamino - otherwise it's not possible, as Turquoise is a dominant mutation in the blue series , but recessive in green.

Re: Is this possible?
I have asked him for pictures of the albino hen as he is insistant that that is what the pairng is but the baby seems visually a turquoise pallid to me anyway. It's not blue or green but something in between.

Re: Is this possible?
I got him to send me a pic of the parents and the female is in fact an albino but the male is not a pallid blue, looked like a pallid turquoise to me so that explains it. Thanks for all your help.
