Imformation about IRN's please

Hi, I am thinking about getting an Indian Ringneck from a breeder and hand rearing him/her but I'm still not sure if I know enough about them. I know what they eat, what sort of cage they need, where they are from, how intelligent they are, etc, but is there anything else important that I should know?
