Hi all,
Can someone please tell me the differences between pallid and pallidino
Or upload picture of each one?!
How do I define pallidino in the genetic calc?

Pallid and Ino are allelic mutations. Only cocks can be PallidIno as both gene locations on the the shared locus are active and can therefore have a Pallid and Ino genes on the locus. Being both sex-linked, hens can only be Pallid OR Ino as only one location is available on that locus.

A PallidIno is a bird with a phenotype in between Ino and Pallid and difficult to show in an image.

Pallid x Ino =

50% PallidIno cocks
50% Pallid hens

Ino x Pallid =

50% PallidIno cocks
50% Ino hens
