Can anyone tell me the generational lifespan of various traits? For instance, how many generations down the road could a cinnamon appear in the apple cart if the parents were not visual. Or, how many generations down the road could a ino appear? Often a color is produced that is unexpected, and can be traced back to the grandparents of the baby. But I am curious can a certain trait appear after skipping 2 generations? Or 3, or 5?
Running simulations in the genetics calculator really helps for those unexpected results, but it makes you curious how far back you can take advantage of an ancestors trait?
