How do you breed Creamino?

How do you breed Creamino?
A friend and I got into a very deep discussion yesterday, and although we both breed, and have been doing so for years (him longer than I, although I have a better understanding of the colours and mutations) and we realised neither of us know the "proper" name for a creamino (if there is one) nor would we know what to pair to get creamino babies?
Also, what would you get breeding an albino and lutino together? (either one being the male or female)
And what would you get breeding a cobalt male to a grey lacewing female?
Thanks guys, I realised I have no idea how to work out the above, not even with the gen calc's help!!!

Re: How do you breed Creamino?
Hi
I asked the exact same question a while ago
Here is the link
http://www.indianringneck.com/forum/vie ... 26&t=14663
The terminoligy for it on gencalc is turquoise blue ino
For the albino and lutino pairing you would get all lutino/blue in both sexes, unless your lutino is /blue, then you would get albinos too.
For the cobalt male and grey lacewing female(if I am not mistaken):
1.0 D blue
x 0.1 grey(sf) blue pallid
% from all 1.0
25.0% 1.0 grey(sf) blue /pallid
25.0% 1.0 blue /pallid
25.0% 1.0 D grey(sf) blue /pallid
25.0% 1.0 D blue /pallid
% from all 0.1
25.0% 0.1 grey(sf) blue
25.0% 0.1 blue
25.0% 0.1 D grey(sf) blue
25.0% 0.1 D blue
That would be the results providing no splits and no (df)
Thanks
Carmen

Re: How do you breed Creamino?
Not the best hen to put to a cobalt cockbird. simply put any grey will mask cobalt and that you should not do if you can help it.And what would you get breeding a cobalt male to a grey lacewing female?
Secondly, you will not get any visual lacewings, only split males.
you should put a blue hen or violet to the cobalt male.
but if you must...
1.0 D blue x 0.1 grey(sf) blue pallid
% from all 1.0
25.0% 1.0 grey(sf) blue /pallid
25.0% 1.0 blue /pallid
25.0% 1.0 D grey(sf) blue /pallid cobalt masked by grey
25.0% 1.0 D blue /pallid
% from all 0.1
25.0% 0.1 grey(sf) blue
25.0% 0.1 blue
25.0% 0.1 D grey(sf) blue cobalt masked by grey
25.0% 0.1 D blue

Im not stupid but im a bit confused. With an albino and lutino, how do we get split blue babies?McmillanBirds wrote:Hi

You would get split blue babies because an albino is a blue inoSCB 22 wrote:Im not stupid but im a bit confused. With an albino and lutino, how do we get split blue babies?McmillanBirds wrote:Hi

Therefore:
1.0 blue ino
x 0.1 ino
% from all 1.0
100.0% 1.0 ino /blue
% from all 0.1
100.0% 0.1 ino /blue
The calculation is exactly the same if you work it vice versa
1.0 blue ino
x 0.1 ino /blue
% from all 1.0
50.0% 1.0 blue ino
50.0% 1.0 ino /blue
% from all 0.1
50.0% 0.1 blue ino
50.0% 0.1 ino /blue
This calculation is the same if you work it vice versa too
Re: How do you breed Creamino?
An Albino, Lutino and Creamino are all the same Ino mutation. The difference being is the Lutino is a Green series bird and an Albino is a Blue series bird. For instance if you had a Lutino and added the Blue mutation it would be an Albino. Then if you took that Albino and added the Turquoise Mutation you would get Creamino. It is a bit confusing but although a Creamino looks similar to a Lutino it is actually closer to an Albino as both are Blue series birds.
To breed one you could use a Turquoise or Pastel Blue Hen to a Albino Cock bird and this would give you Creamino and Albino Hens but also Turquoise Blue split Ino cocks which if paired to an Albino Hen would give you a better chance of breeding more Creaminos. There are a few combinations to breed them.

Re: How do you breed Creamino?
Can a green female be spilt for yellow???
Re: How do you breed Creamino?
No, it can not.
Re: How do you breed Creamino?
Unless you have a rare type of INO called NSL-INO where both can be split
