turquiose grey pallid hen

Post by smick »

My mate just bought this turquiose grey pallid hen and plans to pair it to he's green pallid cock which isn't split. But from this pairing he will get grey pallids and green pallids all split to turquiose. He's on a tight budget so i suggested a turquiose cock/pallid, but other options could be blue/pallid or even green pallid/blue. Which would be best?. I have both a blue/pallid cock and a green pallid/blue that i may sell to him at mate rates. :) I know for sure the blue is split pallid (parrents were blue pallid cock and turquiose blue grey hen) but can't garrantee the green pallid being spilt blue only going on info from the seller. I'm going to pair the green pallid cock/blue to a blue pallid hen if i keep him.

Actually, he would get green and grey green pallid all split to either blue or turquoise. Odds are with the hen being a turquoise grey that one if her parents were not turquoise, unless of coarse if you know for sure what the parents were. I would go with the blue split lacewing which would give him grey, turquoise grey, turquoise, blue makes and females in both solid/normal and pallid mutations. You cold also set him up with an albino male which would give him albino and creamino females and pallidinos in the four colors mentioned earlier, which I think look just as awesome and you don't have to spend money on DNA.

Thanks for the reply Angeldc77,the green/blue pallid hen is starting to feed the blue pallid hen so will keep together as is is the first time she's accepted a male. I will see if my mate will by the blue/pallid cock from me as he's a spare anyway.
