Green cock and blue hen

Post by jhebert9 »

I just purchased my first pair, a green cock and blue hen. Last year, this pair produced 2 chicks, a green and a yellow. Does this mean that they are split to yellow?

So what does that mean as far as their offspring (like mutations, gender-linked?) Is the "yellow" lutino? Or something else. Thank you!!

Thank you! So their offspring will probably all be green or lutino?

possible mutations(color) your pair could produce...

1.0 green /ino x 0.1 blue

% from all 1.0(cock)
50.0% 1.0 green /blue ino
50.0% 1.0 green /blue
% from all 0.1(hen)
50.0% 0.1 ino /blue
50.0% 0.1 green /blue
