I have recently have a clutch of 3 moustache babies born 13th, 14th and 15th November. So the oldest is 2 weeks old today. I removed them two days ago from their mum after a heat wave with two days of over 40 degrees celcsius. Their crops were compacted with whole seeds and no fluid and the smallest ones were thin, red and peeling. The parents were already back to mating. I was really surprised when I removed them to see the size of one of the babies. It was 55g while the other two were only 21 and 11g. They are all now nicely hydrated with good colour and, after a lot of crop massage and electrolytes, are now feeding well. In this pic they now weigh 65g, 26g and 16g. The largest already has its eyes open, pin feathers begining and is very inquisitive and aware of everything going on.

Is it normal to have a chick of this size?
From the pic you will see the size differences

EDIT: Just a correction. The largest one is 75gm in this pic .... NOT 65gm

this is likely normal as the other chick most likely hatched several days before the other 2 and p.s good for hydration is coconut water
