Any breeders of these here? I am getting a pair of them and have a lot of questions. I can't seem to find sites to answer them. Here they are:

1. How many clutches per year do they lay?
2. What age do they mature enough for breeding? The male is 3, the hen is 2.
3. Are they screamers?
4. What age can you tell gender of babies?
5. What bar spacing would be best?

Hi, did you get the pair, no they are not screamers, well my pairs don't . I am only knew to owning/breeding Moustache as well so don't have much knowledge but I think when they first leave the nest all have a pale orange beak but at around 6 months the beaks turn black and anywhere from 8 to 12 months the male beak will start to change again to red. They should be able to breed at 2 years, so yours will be old enough. Thanks smick.
