Always Hungry

Post by dahmer » Wed Aug 22, 2018 8:52 am

OKay so my IRN is now roughly 4 months old and he is literally alway hungry. As soon as he even sees food he goes nuts and everything that i put into his cage is gone after 15min.
I got him from a breeder when he was 9 weeks old. In the beginning he used to eat normal (i fed him mostly seeds and sometimes carrots), but now it's been 3 days since he ate normal.
I've been feeding him a TBSP of seeds and lots of broccoli, carrots, melon everyday.
Am i doing anything wrong ? I dont think he's fat. He drinks, sleeps normal and his droppings are orange (i assume because of the carrots), white and dark green to dark brown. He plays and acts pretty normal although he doesn't make as much noise as he used to.
i'm scared he has coccidiosis or something like that. Should i take him to the Vet ? He isn't tame yet.
Is this behavior normal ?
Thanks in advance :)
