Picking at banding ring

Hi there.. well I have got a friend for Salem.. or me.. Paky Pets told me she was a she, and was hand reared but left to her own devices shes friendly, a bit nippy but ok, I got her today and her and Salem have no issues with each other, sharing apple ect.. the problem is.. Salem is trying to get her band off.. and I am not sure if Salem will hurt her. Any advice would be greatfully recieved.. also I have noticed Salem taking apple off her, out of her mouth... other than that they are fine together..

A new bird must be first in quarantine , to avoid a possible contagion and then they need time to learn and used to eachother.
For the first time they must live in separate cages until they used themselves .
Be careful salem may becomes jealous.
