I have a few updates regarding Mojito our rescue.
She has fallen head over heals in Love with my hubby. She actively seeks his attention, will coast down off her cage to hang out with him, and lets him pet her. She has even started to let him touch her while she is in/on her cage!!!
When we got her 3 months ago it was difficult to get her to believe we were not just another home and that she was safe with us. She would take treats from us but that was about it. She would run or strike. You never knew which.
I am so happy that she is settling in and starting to feel more secure and safe in our home. She still doesn't like me but I am ok with that, we think it is because I just move to fast for her and also I give my attention to our Quaker whom is my snuggle bunny.
