Does your indian ringneck do this
Hi
I am not sure if all indian ringnecks do this but i'll ask anyway. Ever since I got my bird whenever she wants something she climbs to the side of the cadge and lets go of her feet. She ends up holding herself up on the cadge by her beak. With her her feet she just kinda forgets about them and kinda looks like she has 2 dead feet. It is quite funny to watch.
Does anyone elses ringnecks do that ?

Yep, we have weird horny birdies!
Yoda did that when we first brought him home. But I think that was more out of fear of being picked up. Would latch onto the cage with his beak and would NOT let go! But sounds like your chickie is playing. Maybe resting both feet instead of one! hehe. Just a guess.

Hehe, Imran I'd love to see that. Yoda did that in his food tray the first few days we brought him home. There was food EVERYWHERE! There was some dogs at the breeders home where we got him, maybe he picked it up from them? I could of sworn I brought home a bird not a puppy!

Please record that!
All of our little freaks do their own weird thing... blows my mind.
PSchicks boy makes love to a bell on the floor all day (freak)
My boy courts a 'tiel all day.
They all seem to do 'something' uniquely different with all of our babies.
I LOVE ringnecks.
My Paco does something weird too.... He hangs on the side of the cage, and then puts his head down between his feet. It looks like he is stuck like that but he manages to get his head back out. He looks distorted when he hangs like that. SILLY BIRDS!!!!

Jordan loves to climb up the center of the curtain devide and hold on to each side of the curtains, almost in a spread leg kinda position and just pose there completely still, like some acrabat holding a pose for the cameras, then he will let out a sudden long laugh like he thinks he is so funny.
