Erin keeps trying to fly away

Erin seems to have adjusted well. She is constantly eating and drinking. She is even interacting with my cat, who loves to play pickaboo with my mothers parrots and my last bird. My problem with her is that she will be sitting calmly on my hand, shoulder, knee then just tries to take off. Her wings were clipped before I adopted her but know one knew for how long they have been clipped. Anyway it is now becoming a habit and I am scared for her safety, because she bites it pretty bad. I am also worried that if I don't handle her she will get "wild". What do I do? Any suggestions?
