IRN IS GROWLING

Hey so I have a problem, sometimes i go near my irn's cage and he growls he does this sometimes not always just sometimes but however after he growls he is justa tad but aggressive then stops is this normal?

Hi even my Indian ringneck does this when he is in front of the mirror I think they don't to show you who's boss.

I think they do it to encourage you to leave them alone.

I think they do it to encourage you to leave them alone.
They all makes stranges noises, my hen purrs, she also Tut Tutter tuts at me, but she also grunts when l get it right!
