Hi,
My Lola likes to sleep in the corner of her cage....with on leg on the side of the cage and the other on the hanging toy. She basically is doing a split while she sleeps. Is this normal?
Thanks for your input.

Re: Strange sleep habits
Hey,
My bird does this also, it doesn't seem to be causing him any harm.
I'm a pretty new parrot owner, but i try and think about their natural habitat when something concerns me - and i'd imagine they would naturally sleep like this occasionally in the trees.
Hope that helps

Re: Strange sleep habits
My Ringnecks like to stay up late (especially Lucce) and sleep in quite late... long after my Senegal has packed it in for the day my male wants to be up so he play with me and the Ringnecks will be making with the smoochies at some rather late hours as well.
