Hi guys, I know she isnt a Ringneck but I am really desperate at this point.
My cockatiel has been regurgitating daily - clusters of mostly undigested food. I have taken her to the vet twice who gave her a course of antibiotics (no effect) and said as long as she isnt losing weight, dont worry.
I am worrying though.
The internet says sometimes they do it as a sign of affection.
But she is doing every day and sometimes nobody else is anywhere near her. This is abnormal for a tiel.
The vet has suggested a blood test. She had cancer a while back and was pretty traumatised by the surgery, so I would like to avoid the blood test if something less invasive is possible.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

does she have toys and stuff like that in the cage? she may have found an object that she has fallen for. I hope she is ok and its not an illness.

How is she doing? Still regurgitating?
Do you see any signs of regurged food in her cage?
Maybe an x-ray in case she has something stuck in her stomach?
Sometimes if a bird views you as their mate, they will regurgitate on you....lovingly of course.
