Went to visit Erik ..

Post by kyria »

Those of you that don't know .. I had to give up some of my birds to a breeder friend around the corner, due to my having to return to fulltime work (by the way they have put me totally full time now 38 hours) soooooo tired every night, get up at 6.30 home by 6pm. anyway .. guess what !

Billy and Bell (my/eriks quaker pair) have eggs... I knew that being in a real breeding situation would see this happen. So I feel better about what I have done now, because they are a good breeding pair and would have been wasted here as pets. They look so happy and have outside aviary to fly about in and babies on the way :D

Yay grats :D My friend did the same with me.

She had a rather homicidal IRN hen that actually dug through the soil to get into other avairies to go on a killing spree.

She couldnt have it in an isolated avairy with her chosen mate with a solid flooring so I look after it now. I dont mind. It gives me more beautiful birds outside my window and helps a friend at the same time :D

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay
