Hi, i am new to ringnecks , ive had two for a couple of months now, i can tell you my two can be extremely loud when the two start squawking at the same time, earpiercing at times, But a good point is they only do it a couple of times a day, slightly more some days, but its only short periods of time, and not endless piercing noise.
The more interaction they get the less noise they make, and as many chewing toys as you can find is a must!
Once they get older hopefully they will turn the squawking into a tune or even words.
But they are great fun, Some of the guys/girls on here will tell you lots more as im still learning about them

The squawking is normally around sunrise and sunset - this is when they are most active!
