lol, thank you Miss K. Janey & Charlie are a lot of fun.

Hats off to you too and the progress you are making with your rescue bird. You should be really proud of what you've done. I've had enough problems with two handraised birds!

gonna try the turn around for neko and maybe mr bell.. i tinkered with it a little. basically using the treat as a lure to have them turn around.. like following it
is that the right process?

That's how I did it. Then gradually reduce the luring and get them to do it on signal and without seeing a treat.

well this has been quite the success.. with just about a 10-15 minute session with Neko he's turning around like a champ.. well.. not quite like a champ, but he's doing it... I will attempt to teach him to 'turn left' or 'turn right'
right now i'm teaching him turn left.. i'll stick with that for a while

Mr Bell is a little nervous about me reaching behind him (following a lure) so i have to give him a treat for turning almost 180 degrees

Neko figured it out really well and doesn't require a lure

That's fantastic! Well done. With my birds I do the turnaround with the treat above their head. I've found that for some birds it's less threatening to do it below the perch. I usually start by rewarding the 180 degree turn too. Well done!

Awesomesauce! It's so fun to see how many people work with their birds- very encouraging!

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay
