egg binding

we have a hen who has laid her first egg and she seems to be very unstable on her feet and her head seems to wobbling and just not her self ,,, we were wondering if this could be a sign that she is having trouble laying and could be egg bound ????????????

birds will become very week when laying make sure she has plenty of calcium in the cage such as cuttlefish but still get her to the vet A.S.A.P as egg binding is very serious and can kill very quick do not touch the back end where the eggs come from if you crack the egg in her then you have trouble i would take her to a avian vet a.s.a.p
