breeding cage?
hi was just wondering if IRN's would breed in a cage 4" tall/3" wide/2" depth ? hope some1 can help thnx
I'm assuming you mean 4' (four feet) instead of four inches?
They probably would, but that doesn't mean anything. I've seen birds breeding in the tiniest cages imaginable.
I would reccomend something a little wider. A flight would be even better. A well excercised mother (flying) means healthy chicks and an easier time laying eggs.
However, my IRN's parents were in a cage smaller than the one described by you. And they did successfully raise five chicks. So yes, they can.
