help me

i woke up this morning and my male is bald on one side of his face there is half of his black ring missing i watched and the female does it but he does it back to her any one know why this happens and what i should do ?

I have no experience on this to comment. But for now I would say separate them until you find out more.

Matty this happens alot with breeders. They over preen each other. Is it breeding season where you are? They could also be going through a heavy molt. It's your call but I would seperate them for a little while.

Could this be a hard moult with both breeders and pets? Because Jibby has some baldness around his cheeks too. Its started off with one side now both sides are a little bald. I was just thinking hes starting the moulting process. :?

Yeah .. Mickey gets rather bald around one side of the head at this time of year. Mating, Molting .. but kai doesn't. Maybe it is just a normal part of the seasonal thing. Just make sure it doesn't get too bad or there seems to be skin injury involved.

Males especially go through balding when in a heavy molt. Mostly on head and face.

Jibbys starting to look like a macaw with bare cheeks! Is there anything to speed up the moulting process?

he dont seam to be anything bothering him and his female aint biting him she is just chasing him and grabbing his foot soft so he cant get away from her i think the might be starting to breed again as she has started to dig out her box again ( fingers crossed ) i miss my little babies
