hi, is it allright to handle my budgie chicks in the nestbox or will the hen abandon the chciks. also when do you think i should change the concave from the nestbox ,it really dirty

I had to clean the nestbox regularly when I bred budgies, not scrubbing it or anything just getting most of the poop out. It's ok to take the box out. Take the babies out and put them somewhere safe while you clean the box, try not to take too long tho.
Bugies generally wont abandon their chicks just because you touched them.
