my birds have been mating for the past month.the females will enter the nest box mostly in the morning,and spend a few minutes . i check the boxes on weekends but no eggs as yet just wondering if they will lay or is too soon to say.

Where are you located?? I'm in Newcastle Nsw and was going to ask the same question. Mine have been mating as well but ring-necks normally breed in spring and it's coming into winter xx

Hi I`am from Jamaica WI. we are still in what you would consider to be spring. The breeding season starts about november and finish around april.

HI. I have spoken to breeders in my area.Their birds has hatched some still in box others have started to fledged.They say that it is still possible for them to breed this season but it would be consider to be late. Hopefully it will happen if not then next season hope to have better.
