How to breed violet pied

Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me how to breed a violet pied...
Can you put a blue pied with a violet and get violet pied or do both birds need to be pied or split pied.

Thank you for your reply I have not got a pied yet but i am looking. I wasn't sure if I could breed a blue recessive pied to a violet cobalt and get pied babies. So I really need a dominate pied blue to breed with a violet cobalt.

If your in Australia I doubt you will find a Recessive Pied. Best way would be to buy a young Blue Pied Hen and put her to a Mature Violet Cock bird and you could be breeding some this coming season.

Thank you.. I do have a violet cock but he is with a cobalt blue cinnamon. I was hoping that they produce a violet cobalt this season so I can pair the young with a blue pied. I found a great breeder in Nsw that is selling some pieds for $750 blue and $1500 violet.
If I do put a violet cobalt cock With a blue pied hen what will they produce??
Or am I best to put a pied blue cock with a violet cobalt hen??
