ringnecks nesting

hi my ringnecks had just layed last season and the chicks were dead in the shell most peple told me that it was it was to hot and dry so they died. then some other people told me hat the hen should have tried to bathe her self in her water bowl which is just a litle water container, i live in New Zealand and it is really hot summer and the ringneck are now nesting again so how do you thik i could prevent this from hapening again

Humidity palys a big part of hatching eggs, it the humidity isn't high enough, the eggs won't hatch. Usually, birds know if the humidity levels aren't high enough and will have a bath and then go back into the nestbox to rise the humidity levels. Just keep doing what you are doing.
