Blue lacewing hen dancing to cock

Hi everyone, I have a 3 year old hen dancing to her partner who is a 4 year old cock. Has any one had this before. The hen is not dnd test but I have had her for 3 years and there is no ring. I have asked breeders in my area and they have never heard of a hen dancing before and said it must be a male but being 3 years old it would have a ring if it was so it is a female. Any thoughts and comments would be appriecated.

This is not uncommon Alyce. Especially at onset of the breeding season.

Thank you for replying. I have never heard of a female dancing before so i was a bit shocked watching her and the cock both dancing to each other x thanks again
