it all depends on where you are. are you buying froma breeder or store etc. but i would day 150 +. i got my green one for 60 bucks from a breeder. if u look on birdsnway and search for irn you will get an idea of what is up in your area. please don't get mad at me for posting another website.

I paid $40 but I live in australia. I know breeders and can get some of the plain colours free. It pays to know breeders :P

I have been looking for a blue IRN here in NZ and they seem to go for around $150 to $300 NZ dollars. They are gorgeous, but I absolutley adore my green IRN Bean.

I got Tiki from a breeder and paid $250, here in So. Calif.

That price was cheap compared to pet stores where I have seen them for around $400 - $500.

I have also seen wild adult IRN's at a local bird farm for about $150, but they are wild and only meant for breeding, they would be really hard to tame.

Well, I got a blue ringneck for a christmas pressy - it was all I wanted so hubby bought it from the local pet shop at $250.00, the bird was about 14 weeks old. Then only 3 weeks later great big hubby took my bird out of the cage (I was out and hubby wanted to let bird out to play) however, ever so forgetful hubby did forget about birdy and stood on him, yep killed him. He rang me up very upset and I was hysterical............... however feeling so so so so bad he took me straight back to the pet shop (same one, lol) me still in tears and then paid $500.00 for my baby gray 8 week old ringneck !!!!!
