What is a lacewing?

Post by EmmaforRingnecks »

Excuse me for being a bit new to IRN's, but what exactly is a lace wing? I just got my hen today and she is light green, dark green, blue (part of tail) and it looks like there is yellow on the bottom of her wings. Is she a lace wing? She is quite a character! I am going to breed her with a turquoise (which I haven't gotten yet). Thanks! :D

Lacewing is also known more broadly as a Pallid. If you seach this you may find photos that will show you. Can you post a photo its hard to tell froma description in this case.

My first ringneck was a cobalt blue lacewing :] She was an escape artist, and we always had to look for her when we'd get home. Her wings were clipped, so she walked all around the house. She had a white head and white tail, basically, but blue body.
