Ok below is the outcomes based on the parents not carrying any other colour gene(split)

1.0 blue
x 0.1 blue pallid
% from all 1.0
100.0% 1.0 blue /pallid
% from all 0.1
100.0% 0.1 blue
All the babies will be blue the males will carry the lacewing gene but not show it.

Do you know what the grand parents on both sides where? in other words what are mum and dads mum and dad?

Thanks heaps Glenn. All 3 chicks are blue and i have no idea about the parents of the cock or hen.
So its a guessing game with the bubs as to male or female?

Hi;

The mother is not blue pallid (look here for blue pallids: http://home.wanadoo.nl/psittaculaworld/ ... Pallid.htm). Blue pallids display a white head both males and females.
Maybe she is blue cinnamon. Look at her nails colour.

Ye she is deffinatly pallid(lacewing) plus with clear nails a cinnimon as well.

here are the results for that, all babies still blue visual.
But males split lacewing cinnimon.
1.0 blue
x 0.1 blue pallid cinnamon
% from all 1.0
100.0% 1.0 blue /pallid-cinnamon
% from all 0.1
100.0% 0.1 blue

Thanks for your help Glenn. One more if you dont mind. Im wondering what color babies from pallid turg blue Hen to Grey/green possibly split pallid cock. I have 1 chick in the nest from this pair and it has started to get tail feathers- its looking a bit interesting .

Yep no worries,

If the male is split pallid(lacewing)

1.0 grey(sf) green /pallid
x 0.1 turquoise(parblue)Blue pallid
% from all 1.0
12.5% 1.0 grey(sf) pallid /turquoise(parblue)
12.5% 1.0 pallid /turquoise(parblue)
12.5% 1.0 grey(sf) pallid /blue
12.5% 1.0 pallid /blue
12.5% 1.0 grey(sf) green /turquoise(parblue) pallid
12.5% 1.0 green /turquoise(parblue) pallid
12.5% 1.0 grey(sf) green /blue pallid
12.5% 1.0 green /blue pallid
% from all 0.1
12.5% 0.1 grey(sf) green /turquoise(parblue)
12.5% 0.1 green /turquoise(parblue)
12.5% 0.1 grey(sf) green /blue
12.5% 0.1 green /blue
12.5% 0.1 grey(sf) pallid /turquoise(parblue)
12.5% 0.1 pallid /turquoise(parblue)
12.5% 0.1 grey(sf) pallid /blue
12.5% 0.1 pallid /blue

Or if the male isnt split Pallid
all these babies will visually be greygreen or green
1.0 grey(sf) green
x 0.1 turquoise(parblue)Blue pallid
% from all 1.0
25.0% 1.0 grey(sf) green /turquoise(parblue) pallid
25.0% 1.0 green /turquoise(parblue) pallid
25.0% 1.0 grey(sf) green /blue pallid
25.0% 1.0 green /blue pallid
% from all 0.1
25.0% 0.1 grey(sf) green /turquoise(parblue)
25.0% 0.1 green /turquoise(parblue)
25.0% 0.1 grey(sf) green /blue
25.0% 0.1 green /blue

Gorgeous breeders! I usually am not the biggest fan of cinnamons (no offense) but I love the mix in the hen! You'll have to show how the bubs feather in!

Hi Julie;

She is not pallid at all, she is just blue cinnamon 100% sure (I have 2 blue cinnamon females exactly the same than your hen). A pallid blue cinnamon would display a clearer blue and a
completely white head.

Best regards

Ta Glenn
out of all these possibilities which one would it be that the tail feathers are lutino looking and the wings are green?

Well it will depend on if the green looks normal or more olive(greygreen)
But i would say all the ones that say pallid = green lacewing.
It will say pallid and then / what ever is after that is split too Eg. Pallid/ Turquoise

Is the head yellow too?

Thanks Glenn
