Hi everyone i have a male IRN mating with his partner but he is only about 10.5 months old.
I imagine that he would still not be firtile yet.
My question is if the Hen lays eggs would should i do?
Remove them straight away or leave them for a month and then pull them out so
that she doesnt lay again.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to your question... However, I'm really surprised to hear this. I have a one year old male and a two year old female. She seems to want him to mate with her... she bites his feet sometimes... and he proceeds to try to stand on her head... he doesn't really understand what it's all about. Seems my Charlie is a slow developer! lol I thought maybe they might be ready next year when he is two.

it has been know of 1 year old birds successfully breeding so i would not pull eggs until i knew they where infertile i would wait 14 days after the last egg was laid and candle them before i would throw them out who knows he might be lucky enough to be a dad
