Need Help. My bird wont lay eggs

Hi,
Its been about 2 weeks since I saw the male mounting her and my hen has not layed an egg yet
everytime I look out side they are doing it The male mounts her al least 3 times a day or more! what does this mean? that the male cant fertalise the eggs?

Hi There
Ringnecks can mate up to 3 weeks before eggs with mating everyday.
But when she is close to laying most ringneck hens will sleep in there box about 3-4 days prior to first egg.

thanks fro the advise. I have seen her go in and out the box rearly. but havent seen her sleep in it

Have a look in the box and see if she has been rearranging the bedding. I noticed mine changes the pile up of shavings from one side to the other ect when she is getting ready.

Well not my violet and blue pair that I am talking about. But my other blue and yellow pair. The hen will sit in the box like she is protecting something, But this is only when I go into the aviary. I havent seen that pair mate at all. She also has sruffed around and has taken about half of the shavings I put in ther out.

My violet pair. I see sometimes trought the window going in but, she hardly goes in. But She had been doing it with her partner for about 2 weeks.
