Hi, last friday my ringneck laid her first egg, i checked again two days after and still there was one egg, monday morning another egg was laid, today i checked and one more egg is there. I thought egg laying should be every two days but it seems mine is doing it after three days, is it normal? Cock is a lutino and the female is a normal green
I am really exited and hope i'll get to see babies soon

Re: First time breeding
Hi, congrats on your eggs! Fingers crossed you get bubbies.
I guess it depends on the time the eggs are laid and when you saw them.
The hen could have laid the first egg not long before you checked and the others just after you checked. Not all birds are the same so if she appears to be happy, healthy, and not having trouble laying the eggs, then all should be fine.

thanks pinkdevil, the hen seems happy healthy and not worry at all, i am the one that worries lol, she is laying on four eggs at the moment, not sure if she will lay more, she used to come out of the box everytime i was going inside the room but now she doesnt, even the male stays inside the box and comes out only when i put their veggies and fruits... anyway i`ve got my fingers cross and hope everything will go well, this is so exciting
