isnt always a good idea to mix the food your wanting them to eat into the food their eating now? we had to do it with the pellet food because Spit wouldnt touch it. in the pet shop all he was eating was Sunflower Seeds... there was nothing else in the mix, the shop still feeds only Sunflower Seeds.....

i think Spit has the same type of spot on his beak, not as obvious as Smokeys though. its just right where the black blends into the red on the tip of his beak. and i dont think it is a lack of sunlight because we are just coming into Summer over here and Spits getting plenty of it
