Spreading the shoulders creating a heart shape as you describe, pinning the eyes and hoping around his toys is classic male to me. Pictures are extremely hard to tell from, unless you capture a male or female pose. But to me it sounds very much like you have a boy. Our pickle displayed once at a ver...

Get as close to him as possible, then stay there, talk, hold out treats, making kissing noises and tell him about things, let him get use to you being that close. Next time get closer, (if this means placing your hand further into the cage) stay there and again talk to him. Soon enough he will reali...

Same ole crap from the noisey little minorities that want a little bloody attention. How bloomin rediculous is it getting. Weak petty little people that obviously DO have issues with themselves. The Story was, Myer was training up their Santas and had made it stated that Ho Ho Ho was offensive to so...

Yep like has already been said My lutino began to get his ring in at 16 months, but my blue started at aroung 24- 26 months. Talk, alot, repeatedly until you are sick of hearing yourself say the things you want your bird to say and then some.. lol .. Tell them everything you are doing, step up, ni n...

Yep .. clipping to make him dependant on you and easier to work with, then patience, persistance and plenty of interaction, alway communicate what you are doing before you do it, with commands. As they say, curiosity will get the better of him and before long he will understand you are now his flock...

as far as I am concerned it doesn't look anything like a partial ring to me. The initial main ring comes in first, but I think the fine tuning of colour and depth of colour takes quite a few molts. All is well darlin. Every bird is different, some have thicker rings than others. Some ring in early, ...

That a very general non sex specific behaviour as far as I am concerned. If you told me your bird rocked its head back when you scratch its neck that would prompt thoughs of female, if you said it did some crazy jumping (pinning the eyes) dance, then I would say male, but what you describe is a gene...

corn kernels and peas, push the centers out of the outer husks and give that to him, feed him it from your fingers. Soaked seed is great and soaked milk arrowroot biscuit, also as mentioned the millet spray. Sometimes it takes you picking at it with your fingers (like you are eating it) and offering...

Just beautiful pictures and fids. The three remind me so much of my three I handraised (The minikins). Yes it is extremely important that they fully fledge, they get good flight training and a few weeks to learn flight and landing techniques so that when you clip them they know how to land and balan...

I called a very close girlfriend of mine today, she lives back in melbourne in the town I grew up in. And a little strange that a...

Definately separate them. It doesn't take but a second to injure each other and just because they are siblings doesn't mean they will get along. My pair had babies, I took to hand raise. If I introduced them to the parents again now, they would not think twice about killing them to protect their ter...
