When i do training with Amazon i use sunflower seeds i take all these seeds out of his diet until training time then he gets them as a treat.

Well Amazon isnt on the pallets he dont like them so i have taken all sunflower seeds out and he gets those as a treat but he is still eating well, veges, meat and fruit. He weighs a good weight for him and is a happy birdie.

Hey all i have a new baby he is 6 weeks old and is a rabbit, his name is Rascal.

Amazon is 1 year and 1mth old and only does the whistles and says hello but not often so you have nothing to worry about, every bird is different some will talk and others wont.

Amazon doesnt get covered at all the lights stay on in the lounge but i nthe room he is in the lights are off, he still gets light from the lounge but doesnt care he goes right to sleep. Then again since he was 7 weeks old he has never been covered and sleeps with the lights on.

how long you had your baby for, i wouldnt try to much at firstif you havent had your baby for too long, you should do trust games with it first. As for the pet shops idea on it being a boy or girl i wouldnt take that word for it the only way i know to tell if male or female are DNA testing or a ring...

All i can say is take the bite dont pull away or yell as this becomes a game for them as they get a reaction.

Amazon does this sometimes (the biting) i now ignore him when he does this and i try very hard not to let him know it hurts.

When Gemstone and i were living together we were looking after a small dog, Amazon would always annoy the dog nipping him etc, and at times the dog would let Amazon ride on his back.

Amazon will now sit in front of a heater when its turned off and wait for it to go on to dry off, or will sit in the sun, sometimes he doesnt care where he is he will sit and dry off anywhere

We got Amazon at 7 weeks, he was still on a couple of feeds a day we had handfed our other boy Jasper from the same age so we kinda knew what we were doing. When we got Amazon he had Strech corp so we were happy we got him while hand feding was still going. We fixed him and he is healthy happy bird
