Hey Elizabeth, I'm an aussie and I keep my IRN's in cages in the living room. I would LOVE to one day have a avary outside with breeding birds. But I live in a 3rd story unit at the moment. There is nothing wrong with keeping pet birds in avaries outside. I think the fresh air and 'natural' sounds a...

No worries Kateykat. I'll have a ring around some pet stores down here in Melbourne on Monday. My mother was picking up some seed on the way to my place a few weeks back and asked the pet store staff about pellets. They told her that changing Gilbert over to pellets wouldnt be best for him because h...

I have Yoda's Cage half covered at the moment so he/she has somewhere to hide if too stressed. But Yoda's settling in just fine now. Eating some apple, brocolli, and kicking seed all over the floor. I cant wait till he/she starts talking. Louis is GORGEOUS! you must be proud! What a lil munchkin.

My Gilbert started moulting a few weeks ago. Nows he's a scruffy butt! Now i have to remember what time of the year he starts being 'hormonal' AND 'moulting'. I had some trouble with his hormonal evil mood swings a few months ago. But he seems fine now that hes moulting. Wants more cuddles! I was wo...

My babies do eat alot of fruit, vegies, pasta and the occasional chicken. Gilbert has taken a liking to chips and im ...

Ive never seen pellets in the shops down here and I've heard they are quite expensive as I'm only a student at the moment. Everyone seems to be on pelle...
