The parents are eating it and feeding it to them. I place the food in a bowl just inside the door to their avairy. I will pull these little guys on either saturday or sunday. They will be 16/17days then.

The beautiful sin is shining today and all my little babies are doing fine :) I know in a couple days its going to get cold again with the snow melting but these 2 days were a good test to see if the mom will look after them. Hope all your babies are ok.

Is it not the same violet hen as in your first picture?

I had the same problem when trying to capture my cinn clearhead fallow. in some pics he looked green clearhead, in others he looked grey green clearhead and I could never get it quite right no matter what I did. Cameras can be deceiving.

Just the golden cherry male with lutino female that had started laying on sunday, not sure how many eggs they have yet. Will be checking boxes on sunday again of the ones I suspect of having eggs.

The nesting material I used in that box was almost like a straw/hay I found in the big pet shop in victoria road last year. I think they were using it for guinea pigs and rabbits. Another pair of IRN started laying yesterday, 29 July. The other pairs eggs should be hatching at the end of this week sometime(have not candled them)providing they are fertile.

For a standard green IRN on the genetic calculator you do not tick anything. If its grey green you just tick grey(sf).

If he/she is an opaline the biggest draw card would be to see the flight feathers when they grow out. I do agree with angel though in the sense that both parents cannot be blue. Thanks Johan, definately food for thought. I know that between my biggest IRN at home and the smallest there is a fair difference but health wise they are fit as a fiddle so I do believe in that statement.
