Hawaaian, that's a beauty. I have kept Hillerman piers for many years now and I doubt this bird is from this strain. You could have a modification or a fallow type that bears further investigation. Do you know the birds parentage?

Angel excessive downy moult isn't normal. Especially at the rate your bird reflects. I think your gut feeling bears following. I recommend that an avian vet run some blood tests to clarify condition before you join him or her with other birds.
