Reason is that they should be quarantined first and while in quarantine would become interested over time hearing each others calls, so wen they start looking around...

Done both at the same time with spike (irn) and Mika (Alex). mika ate a lot quicker than spike and slightly more. they both weaned and fledged at the same time.Mika didn't need to be fed more times a day than spike, they ate at the same times.

when they start getting curious enough to start picking things up with their beaks is a good indicator. Some start picking at the bedding or droppings ect. And pretty muchly if there is things like corn kernels and fresh peas that they can have a play with they eventually work it out that its edible...

I don't mean to alarm you but I think he needs to be quarantined and taken to a vet. He cant have plucked the feathers on the top of his head near his eye as there is no way he could reach with his beak. It may just be mites and he is rubbing it way too much or it could be something more serious.
