was that the guy I put you in touch with? If it is I think I can understand why he says that  could you imagine how long it would take him to get through giving them fruit everyday. My Grey/green male throws the seed around when I only give him seed, its like he is expecting the fruit to be bur...

Relax, i promise your bird will be the way he was before you clipped him. It will take time, give it days or weeks. 8) yep , normally just when the wings are starting to grow back. Indie wont talk to me if I'm the one holding him while he is getting clipped. Try getting him to step up onto your han...

I used to have a bearded dragon and he was like a dog. Never would bite or run from you, he would just chill out and bask in the sunlight. They make great companions. They are really cool pets. Ren gets up on his hind legs and scratches on the front of the tank to get my attention and then looks do...

Are the dragons aggressive, if they bite could they get you stitches? This fella might do some damage, if you were game enough to put your fingers near him (hes a wild one) but we have had ren and stimpy since they were tiny weeny babies and they get handled a fair bit. I have been bitten b...

It sounds like you are doing a good job with him/her and I wouldn't say put in an aviary. With the whole ring on this foot is a girl that foot is a boy, I couldn't help but laugh, unless the bird has been dna tested or sexed or is a sex linked mutation the only way to tell is to wait for the ring to...

I few of us here have reptiles as well as our birds, I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread to post pics of them. Here is my 2 beardies Ren and stimpy, they are still only young and have a bit of growing to do. http://media8.dropshots.com/photos/60363/20090207/151049.jpg http://media8.dr...

Nietzsche huh? Ok i know the solution, but you should have seperated the birds into diff rooms the first few days or at least a week. Reason is that they should be quarantined first and while in quarantine would become interested over time hearing each others calls, so wen they start looking around...

Re: Color question
. I wish I had a camera to take a picture of her, she has me stumped for sure. She is molting right now, and looking very drab. I know she was not being fed properly so I was wondering if that could affect her color and she really is a normal green, but lacks vitamins and such? Thanks for your help...

when they start getting curious enough to start picking things up with their beaks is a good indicator. Some start picking at the bedding or droppings ect. And pretty muchly if there is things like corn kernels and fresh peas that they can have a play with they eventually work it out that its edible...

Alexandrians eyes are a different color to Indian ring necks eyes. They normally molt when the weather changes, you will know when a major molt is happening cause there is a lot of feathers floating around. What are you actually feeding her that she has it with a spoon? If you are feeding hand raisi...

Hello and welcome. I'm not too sure about the whole breeding solely to make money thing , but each to their own, good luck with that (you may find that it cost more than you make). First thing you need to do is research the proper mutation names, I noticed in your other thread you have a chocolate h...
