Are you sure? I would define it as a kind of "mottle" pied which then is a multifactorial recessive mutation(-combination) according to MUTAVI.

Already resolved. Haven't seen.

An extract of the 2nd pic was posted by Willy some months (years???) ago labeled left deep right dark.
So all you have to do for the first pic is compare the tail feathers (mostly color and length). :P

My anticipation was right. :D "where's the fourth bird?" :P I had to transfer the fourth chick to another pair because it wasn't fed in the right way and trampled down by the other three chicks. So it is lagging behind the other. Means no visible feathers until now. Hopefully next weekend...

Until now only one is for sure opaline. Not the darker green on the right has grey downs (not opaline) and the one on the left has white. :)
The upper right can't carry two violet gens. Mother hasn't one. :D
Sure the upper left is only dark green???

That means that my bird can't be a recessive pied if thats the case. One breeder called her a pied then a funny looking lacewing but she has a blue head. Still trying to send photos. Cheers. The red eye might be from the flash/angle of the eye & in fact there could be no red eye. we can see flash was used. still. But the heads all three birds are forming the same angle to the camera. So i don't think it is the "red-eye" effect. Point taken, the camera yes, but the bird's ...
