Increasing humidity will help only if levels are low. What are the neighbors experiencing here? What are the levels recorded? I don't think its a bacterial or health related issue as all of these chicks completed their development cycle.
Go back to my advice on helping the chick hatch if this recurs.

Take your eggshells to an experienced breeder and ask for them to also check if the shell isn't too hard or thick. Eliminate calcium supplementing for a few months. Also help the chick if too much time lapses from pipping. You will notice the rate and develop a feel for this over time. Here again yo...

Yes you will produce random color types as the parentage possess variants in their lineage. Do a trial
By holding a batch of offspring from hour pair and see for yourself. This is my own opinion though.

As far as the experts go there are two known par blue types...viz the turquoise and the aqua. The variant in shades of normal blue causes the turq to express itself in more ways than one. Blovekhi,
Let's assume the green hen is not carrying the blue gene. Your first pairing will result in 50% green/blue cocks and hens and 50% greygreens/blue cocks and hens.
The second pairing will result in all grey green/ blue offspring.

Observe the birds closely. Is the hen chasing the cock into the box? Is the cock not surgically sexed if not sex it ASAP. Once this is confirmed make sure the birds are both mature and in a breeding age. Very Young cocks are often fearful of hens.A vet can help here.

I recommend a violet green hen. Best to steer away from blue factor. Since you will pair the visual Dom pied to a sex linked opaline hen . You will need to pair brother to sister offspring as you will need to ultimately breed this red factor into opalines to enhance this color. If you really do have...

Then you must pair this cock to an opaline hen. Of you can get an opaline/pied hen better still. Bear in mind that red will only show on yellow and the various green mutations. Tell your friend it's not a good pairing. You will get 50% greygreens of which a portion will mask green violet. To determine which carry the gene you will have to test mate all greygreens offspring.that's a big task. Better to even use a normal green hen . Iif you can preferably get an olive green/...

You need to also be more vigilant in your observations. Some hens are male killers and it is important you ensure the safety of your birds. In any case if she continues to chase the cock there is little to no chance of eggfertilisation. If she stops and

Just to add to what Johan is describing in dbl ftr turq often the degree of green is so dominant you may confuse this for a normal green. The clear head fall is recessive in it's inheritance. It's eye is a dark wine red and lacks the white iris.the cock will develop a clear head at maturity. Lacewings show color at outset and have albino pink eyes.

Now it's your turn.ie do you breed with alexs and where are you located?
