They look about 6.5 weeks to me, and at that stage they still need plenty of feeding for the next couple of weeks. They won't eat by themselves at this time. That's normal. I'm surprised they are eating sunflower already. Good luck! :)

Why not remove the nest box? Alternatively, you could replace the eggs with fake ones. But if it was me, I wouldn't put my birds through the strain of breeding if I didn't intend to have chicks on the perch a few months later.

My personal opinion is that there is no cause to suspect anything other than our typical SL recessive mutations (here pallid or cinnamon) until there is definite male offspring.
