Thanks Skyes_crew, yeah both she and her mate are Nepalese sub-species. Earlier I discussed about her sub-species from another senior member Mr Lee Naidoo from SA and he also confirmed that it is Nepalese. Hi Ring0Neck ! just a basic question came to my mind ... why a deep phenotype looks more dark blue (towards cobalt) than normal blue ? is it due to increase in melanin, feather structure changes or as I deduced from this thread, due to presence of psittacine ?

I am still waiting for my copy, I was told that apparently there is a delay because Deon went through a surgery and was a rest + christmas & new year time. Lets hope we get our copies soon. Yeap right. Deon was in the hospital over christmas time and new year. But my copy was shipped yesterday....

you will get creamino hens in first generation from first pairing
