Coastal-Birds wrote:Also it is the same for a pure lutino or one split to blue
This is wrong. For a pur lutino you will get only lutinos / blue. but if the lutino is split for blue you will get your results.

50% Albino cocks and Hens
50% Lutino/blue cocks and Lutino/blue Hens

1,0 Albino x 0,1 Albino

100% Albino for both sexes.

1,0 Albino x 0,1 Lutino or
1,0 Lutino x 0,1 Albino

100% Lutino / Blue for both sexes

Here you can see a pallid-opaline crossover:

I dont like such birds. A true opaline bird looks much better then such mixed bird.

Because your bird is the offspring from a pair violet green x turquoise it is possible that your bird is split for blue or split for turquoise. in the first way you will get the results that Coastal-Birds described. in the seconde way you will get: green / blue violet green / blue turquoise turquois...

If you really have a visuell gray bird then this bird can't be split to turq. A gray bird also carries the blue gen. If the bird has the turq gen too then the bird must be a turq gray one. Do you have a picture of this bird?

To get this offspring your parent birds must be 1.0 blue /ino x 0.1 ino /blue. Only blue x yellow wont produce this offspring. so you get the following offspring 25.0% 1.0 blue /ino 25.0% 1.0 green /blue ino 25.0% 1.0 blue ino 25.0% 1.0 ino /blue 25.0% 0.1 blue ino 25.0% 0.1 ino /blue 25.0% 0.1 blue...

This should be a Pallid Turquoise Blue Cock (not sure because you cut of the flight feathers)

A Blue split Pallid cock, with an Albino hen will produce the following:

Blue split Ino (visual blue)

All with even odds.

You are right. my result was for a pair of pallidino blue x albino.
So sorry for that. :)
