Re: My Alexandrine pic

Hey Subodhhire, I hope you succeed. I have been reading quite a few articles on free flight, and I love the idea. I am worried that ringnecks are flock creatures, and instinct will override training (ie he could panic when loose and fly away from us to bird companions that are similar to keep him sa...

I love the action shot. I very much doubt we will free fly him outdoors, though i would love him to be able to be free. He is a bit nervous outdoors, and I think he would feel to vulnerable by himself.. Also he is only obedient when it suits him ;p Just incase i ever I'm rich and famous I have alrea...

Hi All, Thanks for all the nice things you are saying about Chanakya. He is very loving and also likes to cuddle to some extent. He is the happiest when he is around my son. Hey Melika, Great resource, thanks! Do you know of any resources that cover wildfood/weeds? Also is quinoa a safe grain? I noticed it on an ingredient list for a brand of pellets (can't remember which one). Fed it to our ringneck (freshly cooked) and it is our ringnecks favourite food (this week)

Our ringneck puts up with the harness. We don't use it for flying though, just for taking him on outings on our shoulders. At home he zooms around the house like a little jetpilot, and we don't want to deprive him of his birdliness. We wanted to be able to take him to friends houses and suchlike so ...

Our ringneck loves to cuddle up if we take a nap. He gets his little chest down on yours and falls asleep. If you scratch the right part of his head (which changes on a daily basis) he puts his head to the side and snuggles down like a baby. If you want to get up before him he tries to pretend there...
