Baby is getting bullied by Buddy pretty good right now too. He isnt pouty, more alert... I would say. I am now MAKING them share a stand beause Buddy is mean and bites other birds. Hard. My birds have sense enough to flee than to fight so when one flees the perch... right back up like nothing happen...

Baby has never known flight so he doesnt care and is very agile. Buddy was always with flight until he came here. He still squats to take off them remembers, poor thing. He is a lot more clumsy than he should be... bet its because he is getting use to being trimmed. He is so precious stepping up... ...

Baby has had a camera in his face since day 1. He actually loves picture time. Buddy, not so much... he tends to want to look away from the camera too.

Maybe the more they get snapped the more use to it they get, Baby gets all excited.

Both of my boys make like a whimpering sound but they are content so I suppose it just 'sounds' sad to us because we are programmed to think a whimper to mean pain, physical or emotional. It doesnt even take a scratch... a kitty's saliva will kill a bird.

Its nature, God made it that way. Birds are suppose to be eaten by cats so the saliva helps in the actual kill. :evil:

My babies probably would too if the cages werent outside. Thats only when they are caged, when I let them play on the screen lania.

I know those beaks would go right through screen so they have to go in their cages if outside and I have to bolt.

He was OUT on the whole bird thing until he realized being out on it would get him put OUT.

Although each of my birds own cages, none of them ever go into them. Ever. My home is bird proof and lacking of cats and dogs. Uhm, no... thats not going to work with an IRN. :lol:

They will hate and distrust you for life. It takes very little to make them freak out and turn from you. Gloves are a certain way to ensure that happens.

It usually means they are:

A: Stressed; Freaked out, scared. New environment, for example.

B: Not feeling well, if it goes on for any amount of time or is with sneezing or runny nose... vet time for sure.

C: Poor cage placement. They shouldnt be anywhere near vents. They like it toasty. :wink:

Baby has a pretty good red spot on the back of his neck but the black just doesnt want to start!

He is little too, my baby... very thin. Worries me but he eats all the time, just is never still.
