I have read that mutations occur in the wild like you said but never had I came across one such wild caught bird (I live in Pak the homeland of rose ringed parrots).... like you said a mutant wild caught alexandrine ...

I would like to ask the experts about how to visually differentiate between DD green (also called olive) and grey(sf or df) green mutations of rose ringed parakeet.

hey , finally a good news , my lutino hen laid two eggs during last few days... so one experience to share from my birds is that the hen will take around 2 to 3 months preparing the nestbox and spending time bonding with the male bird before finally laying eggs
