Sit beside his cage and talk/sing to him, offer treats through the bars, eat your meals beside his cage, they are very curious and he will want to share your food (make sure it's safe food), don't try and handle him, you will freak him out and probably get a nasty bite, just do the minimum cleaning ...

They prefer fruit and veg which contain seeds, papaya, peppers, sweet corn, my bird would Never eat carrot etc, peas in the pod are great for foraging too, and walnut halves preferred to almonds.

Daddi wore thermal undies all year round, because he was thin he felt cold, and he had his electric blanket on!. I usually keep a few winter bits out, the wind can be chilly, or summer morning's can be fresh. Ms Sanjays breeches make me smile! :-c

My birds breeder lied, said my bird was definitely a DNA sexed male, so we named him "Sanjay", in time it became obvious "Sanjay" is female, so now she is just "Sweetie", or Ms Sanjay for the purposes of this forum.

You don't say how long you have had them, but I can tell you, aviary hatched/parent reared birds take much much longer to tame. If they come down for food, that's your answer, my bird goes back into his cage as soon as I put fresh food etc in there, why aren't your birds weaned yet?, Ms Sanjay was weaned by the time he was 8 Weeks old.
